Service Description

This class will provide the citizen with tips and pointers to successful deployment of a firearm in a self-defense encounter. The shooter will gain tips for self-defense and deadly force utilization. Tools you will be equipped with will help you develop confidence in firearm manipulation and use while incorporating movement. Topics Covered 1. Efficient draw from concealment 2. Effective grip for recoil management 3. Combat anatomy/effective shot placement 4. Emergency and tactical reloads 5. Clearing of weapons malfunctions 6. Controlled multiple shots. 7. Shooting while moving/getting off the X 8. Increasing speed while maintaining accuracy 9. Retention shooting 10. Use of cover 11. Target transitions 12. The Aftermath of a defensive shooting 13. Importance of Self-defense liability insurance 14. Self-defense ammunition selection 15. Defender mindset 16. Support hand only shooting 17. Scanning for threats What to bring 1. Personal semi-automatic pistol in good working order 2. Minimum of 500 rounds of ammunition (bringing extra will always be a good idea) 3. Good quality gun belt 4. Dominant side outside or inside the waistband holster. Appendix holster permitted if shooter can demonstrate safe draw/re-holster practices. 5. 3 pistol magazines 6. Pistol magazine carriers, pockets are also ok. 7. Hearing/vision protection rated for shooting sports. 8. Snacks/packed lunch/hydration 9. Firearm maintenance kit 10. Hat, sunscreen, insect repellant Important Information for classes: * Minimum of 2 students must be enrolled in each class. If minimum enrollment is not met or there are unsafe conditions at the class location you will be notified and rescheduled, no refunds. -Location Information: Class will be held at an outdoor range facility, be sure to dress for the weather as we will still have class if it rains or is cold. Tent shelter will be available when not shooting. Students welcome to bring a camping or folding lawn chair. -No Refunds. However, I am more than happy to reschedule your class to another date in the event of unforeseen circumstances. -Class Safety Policy: It is my responsibility to maintain a safe learning environment for all students. With that being said, if your actions or conduct appears reckless or you commit blatant safety violations after initial warning and correction by instructor you will be asked to leave without refund. The student may attempt completion of the course at a later date.

Cancellations must be received 24hrs in advance of class by calling us at 843-954-2845 or email docs.precision.training@gmail.com. If no show without notification, class fee will be forfeited and not applied toward future class bookings.
